All full-time employees have access to the LinkedIn Learning platform at no cost to the employee.

Educational Reimbursement and Release Time

Full-time employees of TEEX have programs available to assist with furthering their education. These programs include:

  • An application-based tuition reimbursement program (with a yearly cap)
  • Up to 3 hours per week of Educational Release time to physically attend classes
  • Doctoral assistance through the Texas A&M System for those pursuing their doctoral degree at one of the Texas A&M University System schools.

The Women of TEEX sponsors a monthly speaker series, networking opportunities and community service events open to all employees and friends.

Emerging Leaders Program

The Emerging Leaders Program is a year-long commitment that provides each cohort with skills and tools to enhance their leadership capabilities. This is an application-based program that walks participants through self-discovery, leading at TEEX, program oversight, and culminates in a capstone project..

Leadership Development

Positional leaders at TEEX attend courses such as Emotional Intelligence, and Leadership Essentials – where they take a deep dive into the TEEX Leadership Model, and each of the WeCARE behaviors of Work/Life Balance, Communication, Accountability, Recognition, and Empowerment.
