Course Description
The Wood Pole Climbing Instructor course is designed to provide experienced pole climbers with the skills required to become an instructor within the industry. Through facilitated hands-on exercises utilizing the TEEX Wood Pole Climbing field, course instruction, practice, and demonstrations, candidate instructors are prepared to deliver training utilizing TEEX-provided materials. Once the instructor course has been completed, participants will have the knowledge and all course materials necessary to properly assess those industry professionals wishing to receive training, set up required equipment, and administer all wood pole climbing training evaluations.
Prerequisites
TEEX Certification/Licensing Requirement
Participants must provide evidence of completion of the TEEX Wood Pole Climbing (EPP001) course or equivalent training verified by their current employer through a completed Student Qualification Form. This prerequisite may be accomplished by uploading a copy of the documents during registration using the TEEX Student Portal. Once received and approved, the participant will be notified by email they have met all prerequisites and have been added to the class roster. All documentation is due at least 14 business days prior to the start of class.

Attendance Requirements
To meet attendance requirements, participants must review each training module and complete all required course assignments, activities, quizzes, and/or end of course exam.
