Course Description

Law enforcement training advisory boards typically provide oversight to an academy and its programs while providing policy recommendations relating to law enforcement needs, coordination, evaluation, and/or implementation of training.

This material is intended for prospective and current advisory board members as well as training administrators to better prepare and run an academy advisory board.

This course meets Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) requirements Training Advisory Board Course #3003.

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites for this course.

Course Completion Requirements

Participants must provide information for all required fields, including their U.S. citizenship/permanent resident information, in addition to meeting all other attendance and course completion requirements. If this information is not provided, the participant will be considered incomplete and will not receive a certificate of completion.

  • The mandatory completion period for this eCourse is 45 days from your registration date.
  • To complete this course, you must have access to a computer with internet access.
