About Law Enforcement and Protective Services
The TEEX Law Enforcement and Protective Services division provides specialized training for police officers, law enforcement dispatchers, security officers, and jail and detention personnel through traditional and online training. Our courses range in topics suitable for basic to advanced professionals and a majority are eligible for Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) credit. Course offerings include basic peace officer course, arrest and control tactics, special weapons and tactics (SWAT), explosive breaching, crash investigations, forensics and investigations, first line supervisor, and a variety of instructor level specialty courses.
