TEEX offers practice exams for several Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) licensing examinations. Exam questions are drawn from the course objectives published by TCOLE for each respective course. This site and its contents are not sanctioned or administered by TCOLE. TEEX makes no claims that student performance on these practice exams will ensure similar performance on the actual state licensing examinations.

Effective March 1, 2018 the price of each practice exam will be $35 and allow you unlimited attempts for 30 days. 

Refunds are not available for practice tests, nor may the practice test be transferred from one customer to another.

This exam is designed to assist students who have completed the Texas Basic Peace Officer (TCOLE #1000) course in preparing for their licensing exam.

This practice exam includes 100 questions randomly generated from a testing database. Each time you take this exam you may see new questions and repeated questions from previous exams.

This exam is not timed. At the end of the exam you will receive a grade and will be provided with the opportunity to review your answers.

Note: The actual TCOLE examination administered by the state includes 250 questions and has a 3 hour time limit.

This exam is designed to assist students who have completed the Texas Basic Telecommunicator Course (TCOLE #1013) course in preparing for their licensing exam.

This exam is designed to assist licensed Texas Peace Officers who have completed the Basic Jail Certification Course for Sworn Texas Peace Officers (TCOLE #1107 or 1072) course in preparing for their licensing exam.
