TEEX opens new TMAC Training Center in Houston
More than 100 people recently attended a ribbon-cutting and open house at the new TMAC Training Center at 1440 S. Creek Drive in Houston, off of the Katy Freeway.
“We need to promote the importance of manufacturing to the economy, and I can’t think of a better place than Houston to focus our efforts,” said TEEX Director Gary Sera. “We now have a place where we can deploy into the major manufacturing hub, not just in Texas but in the United States. We are honored and privileged to be here.”
“The new facility will allow TMAC and TEEX to better serve small and mid-sized manufacturers in the Gulf Coast region by providing services that advance profitability and growth,” Caldwell added. “We help manufacturers boost their productivity, develop their supply chain, strengthen their workforce and assist them with product development.”
The center includes office space, a conference room and several classrooms that can accommodate up to 36 students. Contact the new training center at 713-357-4950, or stop by 1440 S. Creek Drive, Houston, TX 77084.
