Course Description

Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites for this course.
Course Completion Requirements
Participant Must Provide
- a photo identification on the first day of class. See the Participant Handbook for approved forms of identification and additional guidelines.
Attendance Requirements
Upon successful completion, you will be able to:
- Describe the essential elements of a respiratory protection program.
- Describe the elements of a program using 29 CFR 1910.134.
- Identify the technical aspects for the proper selection of respiratory protection.
- Describe the fit test process.
- Recognize the technical aspects for the proper use of respiratory protection.
- Discuss requirements for effective training, evaluation of a respiratory program, and recordkeeping.

This course is designed for employees and managers assigned to industry safety and health teams, and city administrators.
