The rise of electric-powered vehicles traveling on roadways presents new challenges to firefighters when dealing with these types of incidents. Recently one of our Recruit Fire Academy Instructor’s Justin Fryer, Firefighter / Paramedic responded to one of these incidents that made international news. Justin speaks candidly about the challenges he faced on scene. The vehicle fire took approximately four hours and 27,000 gallons of water to extinguish.
