About the Coastal Bend Advanced Skills Training Center
The Coastal Bend Advanced Skills Training facility is TEEX’s premier workforce training center, located on the renovated 15,000-square-foot third floor of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi’s Chaparral Building in downtown Corpus Christi. It is designed to prepare individuals for careers in demand within the Coastal Bend region, including manufacturing, maritime, petrochemical, and related industries. The state-of-the-art facility offers courses covering maintenance and troubleshooting, occupational health and safety, process improvement, cybersecurity, heavy equipment and professional skills. Through partnerships with local employers, schools, and community organizations, TEEX is helping build a skilled workforce that supports the continued growth and success of the Coastal Bend region.
