Course Description
This meeting provides an opportunity for local agency and industry personnel to meet with representatives from the State Fire Marshal’s Office and discuss concerns and goals. SFMO will present the initiatives the office is working on. In addition, other state agencies, such as the Texas Commission on Fire Protection, will be present to offer updates on their own activities and to answer questions.
Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites for this course.
Attendance Requirements
To meet attendance requirements, participants must review each training module and complete all required course assignments, activities, quizzes, and/or end of course exam.
Upon successful completion, you will be able to:
- Understand the roles and responsibilities of the State Fire Marshal’s Office.
- Know the goals and initiatives of the State Fire Marshal’s Office.
- Know the contact information and resources available for multiple state fire industry agencies.
