COLLEGE STATION – Six employees received the Distinguished Service Award from the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) on Dec. 18, during an awards ceremony at the Brazos County Expo Complex. The employees were recognized with the agency’s highest honor for their outstanding efforts and dedication in serving the agency, the state of Texas and the nation.

Employees receiving the Distinguished Service Award were (l-r) Dennis St. John, Rebecca Donnelly, Amy Auyer, Jason Moats, Chuck Jones and Kimberley Easley.

For more than 25 years, the Distinguished Service Award has embodied the true essence of being a TEEX employee, recognizing attributes such as dedication, extraordinary effort and excellence, a positive attitude, concern for quality and customer service. Award recipients received a framed certificate, a TEEX commemorative coin and a monetary gift.

Also recognized at the awards ceremony were four Texas A&M University students who hold part-time jobs at TEEX. Named Student Workers of the Year were: Clayton Moore, Brendan Mills, Crystal Cruz and Hannah Weison.
