Austin Event to Highlight Research & Innovations in Unmanned Aircraft Systems

The Texas UAS Summit & Expo, set for March 29-31 in Austin, will be the first-ever comprehensive look at unmanned aerial systems (UAS) in Texas and how the state is shaping the industry. The event will draw public and private entities, industry and university experts to discuss cutting-edge research, commercial operations and end-user opportunities in Texas and the region.

Expected attendees include commercial manufacturers and operators, researchers, payload providers, platform designers, 333 exempt entities and multiple leaders spearheading UAS expansion in Texas and beyond. The summit will also showcase UAS training, research and innovations taking place in Texas and The Texas A&M University System.

Speakers will address UAS topics in Oil and Gas, Emergency Response, FAA Insights, Research and Development, UAS Industry, Texas State Agencies and UAS, the Legal Landscape, and more.

UAS Magazine is producing the event, in collaboration with the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) and the Lone Star UAS Center of Excellence & Innovation at Texas A&M – Corpus Christi.
