Conroe Company Receives UAV Credentials

COLLEGE STATION – A Texas-based company is the fourth to receive credentialing through the National Unmanned Aircraft Systems Credentialing Program (NUASCP), a program developed by the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) and the Lone Star UAS Center of Excellence and Innovation (LSUASC) at Texas A&M University — Corpus Christi.

Precision Aerial Compliance Solutions, in Conroe, TX, uses Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) to capture aerial video used by industries including Real Estate, Agriculture, Construction and Oil & Gas, to inspect facilities, land or infrastructure while reducing costs and improving safety.

“Precision Aerial is pleased to be a member of this elite group of UAS operators who have graduated from the NUASCP,” said Scott McGowan, CEO of Precision Aerial Compliance Solutions. “This program’s certification gives our current, as well as potential clients, a more informative way to make choices in using and integrating UAS service companies and their capabilities into their own business operations. Safety and professionalism are the key factors in hiring a potential UAS operator and this program makes that process easier by doing a lot of that groundwork for them.”

TEEX and the Lone Star UAS Center of Excellence and Innovation (LSUASC), State of Texas FAA UAS Test Site, offer Section 333 exemption holders the opportunity to receive a 3rd party vetting and “Live-Flight” operational audit of all of their operational and safety policies, procedures and qualifications required through the 333 exemption process.

Qualified operators that complete the program are provided with a certificate that serves to differentiate them from other exemption holders as voluntarily enrolling in and satisfactorily completing a program to further demonstrate their ability to safely and effectively operate Section 333-exempted small UAS.
