Employees honored with TEEX Distinguished Service Award

COLLEGE STATION – Five employees received the
Distinguished Service Award recently from the Texas A&M Engineering Extension
Service (TEEX).
The employees were recognized with the agency’s highest honor for their
outstanding efforts and dedication in serving the agency, the state of Texas
and the nation.

Employees receiving the Distinguished Service Award were,
left to right, Justin Mangham, Debbie
Mendez, Juan Guerrero, Jan Meyer-Brickley and Christine Ramirez.  The awards were presented  during an awards ceremony at the Brazos County Expo Complex in December.

For more than 25 years, the Distinguished Service Award
has recognized attributes such as dedication, extraordinary effort and
excellence, a positive attitude, concern for quality and customer service.
Award recipients received a framed certificate, a TEEX commemorative coin and a
monetary gift.

Also recognized at the awards ceremony were four Texas
A&M University students who hold part-time jobs at TEEX.  Named
Student Employees of the Year were: Sarah Burden, Alan Faught, Kayla Fearing
and Aaron Otiker.
