Certified Safety and Health Official® – Construction

Become an industry-recognized CSHO. The Construction Industry CSHO Track is designed for personnel who perform safety and health work on a daily basis in construction environments or have safety responsibilities over others at those locations, including inspections and audits. Our General Industry CSHO Track relates more to personnel who perform safety and health work at industrial facilities or have safety responsibilities over others at those facilities or locations, and whose work includes inspections and audits.

As part of our mission to develop a skilled and safe workforce, TEEX introduced its CSHO program that is approved for use of VA education benefits almost 10 years ago. CSHO has gained recognition in the industry with an average of 200 graduates annually. The program consists of courses related to specific industries in order to give a safety manager, supervisor, and/or director the knowledge to manage a successful safety and health program within a company. You can leverage your CSHO training for college credit at these institutions of higher education. We have articulation agreements with colleges and universities that will grant college credit hours for completed TEEX courses, which can be applied toward an associate’s or bachelor’s degree. Some agreements are tied to specific college majors. Others refer to the general overall acceptance of TEEX training.
