Ordnance Removal and Remediation Technician
The Ordnance Removal and Remediation Technician Certificate is designed to give graduates a recognized credential to support several career paths in the explosives and ordnance remediation industry. After completing the four required courses graduates will meet all Unexploded Ordnance Technician I training requirements established by DDESB Technical Paper 18, as well as learn to carry out demining procedures and clearance operations in accordance with International Mine Action Standards. Graduates will also have the basic skills required to safely operate a backhoe and forklift in a UXO field environment.
Once all four courses have been completed, participants must complete the Ordnance Removal and Remediation Technician Certificate Request and return to the TEEX Law Enforcement and Security Training division to receive their Certificate.
