Rapid Extraction Module Support (REMS)
The Rapid Extraction Module Support Training tracks are provided for those that will work within the Texas A&M Forest Service and for resources mobilizing through EMTF to operate as a REMS team member.
Required Courses
This Certificate Program consists of the classes below, taken over a period of time.
Classes range from two-day training deliveries to week long 40hr deliveries. All classes fall in line with recommended training listed under Fire Scope ICS -223 document, NWCG REMS Standard, PMS 552 Types I, II & III, NFPA 1006 /1670 (2021 edition) and job specific qualifications to prepare individuals for Rapid Extraction Module Support Operations.
Classes can be taken in any order and can be taken elsewhere so long as they meet or exceed National standards. NWCG Pack Test (tfsweb.tamu.edu) needs to be completed and documented per TFS and AHJ.
How to Apply for this Certificate
Receive a certificate officiated by TEEX and the Texas A&M Forest Service after successful completion of the Rapid Extraction Module Support Level I & II.
