Coverage is available to eligible employees and family members during their tenure with TEEX. Coverage may also be available in retirement if you meet the eligibility criteria. Coverage can be elected when employment begins by paying the full cost or at the time the state contribution is met. The state contribution funds help significantly with the cost of medical coverage and are available the first of the month following the 60th day of employment.
Basic Life, Alternate Basic Life, Optional Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Life insurance programs are available to purchase which will pay benefits to your selected beneficiary. In addition, Dependent Life Insurance is also available to provide coverage for dependent spouses and children.
Long-Term Disability (LTD)
LTD plans are available to assist with protecting your income in case of an extended disability that prevents you from working.
Flexible Spending Accounts-Health/Dependent Day Care
The A&M System provides two Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs). If eligible, these voluntary programs allow you to pay certain health and dependent daycare expenses with before-tax dollars.

Virtual visits are a feature provided by MDLive through our health plan. Members can select their doctor from a large, national virtual visits network in private, secure and confidential environments via telephone, online video or mobile app.
