Course Description

The Roller Coaster Rescue Training course is designed to
provide participants with the essential knowledge, skills, and techniques
required to respond effectively to emergencies that may arise in amusement park
roller coaster environments. This comprehensive course will equip students with
the tools necessary to handle various scenarios, ensuring the safety of riders
and staff alike.

The course is a 3-day advanced level course for rescue
professionals and emergency responders. 
The Roller Coaster Rescue course is designed to equip participants with
expert-level skills in using ropes, knots, and rigging systems. This course is
ideal for outdoor enthusiasts, adventurers, rescue professionals, and
individuals seeking to enhance their rope work abilities for various
applications, such as climbing, mountaineering, rescue operations, and more.
Participants will delve into intricate rope techniques, safety protocols, and
hands-on practice to master the art of advanced rope work.

Prerequisites

40 hours of Rope Rescue-Related Training. 
NFPA 1006 Rope Rescue II/technician is preferred and is strongly suggested
before registering for this course.

Attendance Requirements

Class attendance is an essential part of the education process and participants in TEEX courses are expected to attend all class sessions and field exercises. This course requires participants to attend a minimum of 80% of the class hours as a component of successful course completion. During the course, your instructor will review any additional attendance requirements, for example a field exercise that cannot be missed
