Course Description
Prerequisites
Incident Command System ICS-100 and ICS-200
Preferred courses are Q0462 and Q0463, available through NFA Online
Course Completion Requirements
Participants Must Provide
A photo identification on the first day of class. See the TEEX ParticipantHandbook for approved forms of identification and additional guidelines.
Laptop or tablet to view student manual and exercises.
Attendance Requirements
To meet NFA attendance requirements, participants must complete each training module and successfully complete all required course assignments, activities, quizzes, and pass the end of course exam to receive course completion. During the course, your instructor will review any additional requirements.

Upon successful completion, you will be able to:
- Assess situations from multiple perspectives
- Articulate techniques for fostering an environment of crativity and innovation.
- Create a personal plan as a supervisor and leader in fire and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) based on the thinking perspectives presented in this course.
Suggested Audience
The primary target audience for this course are those individuals who are at the first line of supervision. For purposes of student selection, first line level is considered to be those at the Company Officer or Unit (fire prevention, fire education, communications, EMS, etc) Supervisor level.
