Three new sites in Germany & Peru become TEEX Cooperative Learning Centers
The new CLCs were approved by TEEX senior leadership after an extensive and rigorous review process that includes site visits, inspections, observations and safety audits and documentation. This brings the total number of CLC partners to 16 in nine countries, expanding the international reach of TEEX emergency response training and safety to thousands more responders worldwide.
The Leipzig facility is also first-class with a purpose-built Drager aircraft simulator as well as a training building with airplane mockups, confined space gallery, classrooms and a fitness evaluation center, he added.
TEEX has previously partnered with Suatrans at a CLC facility in Chile, and will add the new site in Peru when it is completed this summer. The Peru site will accommodate industrial and interior fire training, rope rescue, hazmat programs and instructor training, Freeman said.
TEEX now has agreements with Cooperative Learning Centers in: Australia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Germany, Malaysia, Mexico, Peru and Puerto Rico.
