COLLEGE STATION – Vince Riggins has been tapped to serve as Associate Agency Director and Chief Information Officer of the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX).

His appointment was approved by the Texas A&M University System Board of Regents during its September meeting. Riggins previously served as IT Security and Chief Technology Officer.

In his new role, he will manage long-range information technology strategic planning, IT governance and information security standards and guidelines encompassing data and intellectual security.
