COLLEGE STATION –  The public is invited to witness firefighters battle a wide range of heavy blazes at the annual TEEX Public Firefighting Demonstration scheduled for Wednesday, July 25, at Brayton Fire Training Field. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. and the event is free.

Public Firefighting Demo Night is a tradition of TEEX summer fire training schools, during which more than 2,000 firefighters from across the globe gather in College Station for training. The event is held during the week of the Municipal Fire Training School, the largest school of its kind in the world. Public Firefighting Demo Night is hosted by the Emergency Services Training Institute of the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX).

I didn’t get to say thank you before I left class so I wanted to take a moment and say thank you. Your class was excellent and I really appreciate the effort that you put into it. The material presented was effectively put together to ensure that we got the most out of it. I could really tell that you enjoy what you do. I have been training for quite some time and can tell that your passion is extremely high.
