The TEEX Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Program provides industry professionals with training focused on current federal and state environmental laws. The broad range of courses included in the program cover safety training for all related industries and provides professionals with continuing education opportunities specific to the EHS industry. The TEEX EHS area covers several certificate programs to include the Certified Safety and Health Official, and Public Sector Safety & Health Fundamentals. The EHS Program provides experienced trainers specializing in multiple industries covering the recognition and identification of hazards associated with illicit labs, pipeline preparedness, emergency response, and HazMat incident training. Other focus areas include construction, general industry, instructor development, leadership and supervision, maritime, oil and gas/petrochemical, stormwater, and voluntary protection programs.

Up to 50% of the total required course hours can be satisfied by completing the required courses at any OSHA Training Institute Education Center or at the OSHA Training Institute in Arlington Heights, Illinois.  Proof of successful course completion is required.

The Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) under the Department of Transportation requires that Hazmat Employers* train all Hazmat Employees** within 90 days of starting in the position and conduct recurrent training every three years thereafter.  The Hazardous Materials Transportation Train the Trainer course, offered at no-cost, is designed for personnel who will be preparing and conducting this training. Hazardous Materials DOT501 Hazardous Materials Instructor Training
The Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) under the Department of Transportation requires that Hazmat Employers* train all Hazmat Employees** within 90 days of starting in the position and conduct recurrent training every three years thereafter.  The Hazardous Materials Transportation Train the Trainer course, offered at no-cost, is designed for personnel who will be preparing and conducting this training. Course participants will learn applicable PHMSA requirements as well as principles of adult education and effective instructional design. The Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) under the Department of Transportation requires that Hazmat Employers* train all Hazmat Employees** within 90 days of starting in the position and conduct recurrent training every three years thereafter.  The Hazardous Materials Transportation Train the Trainer course, offered at no-cost, is designed for personnel who will be preparing and conducting this training. Course participants will learn applicable PHMSA requirements as well as principles of adult education and effective instructional design.
