What is Rope Access?

Rope access provides a safe, cost-efficient, and effective means of accessing structures and geologic features for rescue, inspection, maintenance, and construction.

VA Education Benefits Eligible

Our Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians (SPRAT®) training is eligible for use of VA Education Benefits.

NOTE: Only Level One.

Three-Level Course

Our SPRAT training is for anyone who needs rope access – tower technicians, law enforcement, wind turbine technicians, firefighters, window washers, ski lift inspection and repair personnel, dam inspectors, amusement park repair personnel, you name it.

Our five-day course (CEL301) is taught at three different skill levels:

  • Level One – Eligible for VA Education Benefits.
  • Level Two – Can be taken six months after Level 1 certification AND 500 hours accrued
  • Level Three – Can be taken six month after Level 2 certification AND 500 hours accrued

After four days of hands-on techniques, participants will receive a one-day evaluation consisting of a demonstration of skills and a written test.

Rope AccessCEL301Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians
SPRAT Level 1, 2, and 3 Certification is designed to provide an overview of the skills required to successfully complete Society of Processional Rope Access Technicians (SPRAT) Level 1, 2, or 3 certification. This course consists of four days of hands-on technique practice followed by one day of instruction for evaluation and a practical exam. Rope AccessCEL400Fundamental Tower Rescue
CEL400, Fundamental Tower Rescue, is designed to provide an overview of the “must-know” skills, knowledge, and abilities necessary to rescue an individual from height on a utility tower. This course conforms to the NSFPA 1006.2021 Tower Rescue Skills Standard for awareness, operations, and technical information, as well as ANSI Z359, Z87, and Z89 standards.
