Lawson tapped to lead National Emergency Response and Rescue Training Center

Hank Lawson has been named Director of TEEX’s National Emergency Response and Rescue Training Center (NERRTC), which is a founding member of the National Domestic Preparedness Consortium and has enhanced the nation’s preparedness by training more than 450,000 responders in over 10,000 jurisdictions.

NERRTC affiliations leverage, expand homeland security training capabilities

TEEX’s National Emergency Response and Rescue Training Center (NERRTC) is leveraging and expanding its competencies in homeland security by partnering with other academic institutions that have nationally recognized specialized expertise and capabilities. These affiliations include the National Center for Spectator Sports Safety and Security (NCS4) at the University of Southern Mississippi and the Kostas Research Institute for Homeland Security (KRI) at Northeastern University in Burlington, MA, among others.
