TEEX was again selected to provide emergency management training and exercises for the renowned Emergency Management Institute (EMI) in Emmitsburg, MD, and delivered a four-day capstone course, “Exercising Emergency Management Executive Policy and Decision-making.”

The Anne McCormick Sullivan Foundation has awarded TEEX up to $15,000 to support training for women in fire and emergency response programs. The foundation is named for Firefighter Anne McCormick Sullivan, who died in the Line-of-Duty on May 31, 2013, during the 5-alarm Southwest Inn fire in Houston.
Nine responders have received the US&R Rescue Specialist certificate from TEEX in 2015, bringing the total who have earned the professional designation to 74.
