Texas Task Force 1 (TX-TF1) along with the Incident Support Team (IST) cache has been activated by FEMA through the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) and will deploy from their facility in College Station to Oklahoma.
Texas Task Force 1 (TX-TF1) was demobilized Saturday by the Texas Division of Emergency Management after a two-day deployment to West, Texas, for search and rescue operations following the explosion of the West Fertilizer Plant on Wednesday, April 17.

The team continued delayering the apartment complex structure and performed secondary searches of the neighborhood north of Meadows Drive. The team also performed a wide area search of the West Fertilizer Plant.
