The 2012 Annual Energy Institute Conference and Growing Texas Conference, October 3 – 4, in College Station will feature experts from academic programs and state agencies in The Texas A&M System who explore the challenges facing the state’s water resources.

Texas Task Force 1 activated in anticipation of Hurricane Isaac

The Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX)-sponsored Texas Task Force 1 (TX-TF1) was activated late last night by FEMA for deployment in anticipation of Hurricane Isaac. The storm is expected to make landfall Tuesday night somewhere along the coast of Louisiana. TX-TF1 resources will stage a Type 1 US&R Team in a designated area to respond quickly to assist where requested.

‘TEEX PDC TESTED’ trademark ensures reliable performance under real-world conditions

The Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) Product Development Center (TEEX PDC) has introduced the new “TEEX PDC TESTED” trademark. This trademark is a sign that a product or technology performs reliably as intended under acceptable, repeatable, real-world conditions.

Agreement with Northwestern State will provide college credit for 2 TEEX programs

The Texas Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) and Northwestern State University of Louisiana have signed an articulation agreement that will provide college credit for the TEEX Certified Safety & Health Official™ (CSHO) program and the Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic program.
