The storm is expected to make landfall Tuesday night somewhere along the coast of Louisiana. TX-TF1 resources will stage a Type 1 US&R Team in a designated area to respond quickly to assist where requested.

The Texas Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) and Northwestern State University of Louisiana have signed an articulation agreement that will provide college credit for the TEEX Certified Safety & Health Official (CSHO) program and the Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic program.
Four additional courses have been approved by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for GI Bill® education benefits. The programs recently receiving approval are Solar PV Installer, Fire Instructor I, OSH500 Construction Industry Train-the-Trainer and OSH501 General Industry Train-the-Trainer.
