Tarleton State University and the Texas Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) have signed an agreement whereby credits earned in TEEX training classes can be applied toward Tarleton degrees.
Law enforcement officers and other emergency responders often face dangerous situations and even explosive chemicals during otherwise routine calls. That’s why TEEX offers grant-funded training that helps prepare emergency response personnel and other public servants who may encounter an illicit laboratory used for manufacturing illegal drugs, or even chemical or biological weapons.
Pennwell Publishing called on TEEX to develop web-based courses for its WaterWorld Continuing Education website, which are now available to water and wastewater professionals nationwide.

The Republic of Colombia is interested in a technology developed by Texas A&M Engineering that could clean contaminated water recovered from drilling and production operations. Colombian officials are also interested in training provided by the Texas Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) for the technicians, inspectors and engineers that would use the technology.
