Established in 1998, the TEEX Certified Safety and Health Official® (CSHO) Program serves the needs of industry professionals. Today, it continues today to be identified as a significant safety and health professional designation.
The CSHO Program is comprised of two tracks; Construction and General Industry. All related courses linked to the program are delivered by industry-specific qualified subject matter experts (SME). Each SME is selected based upon their individual field experience. The program covers technical training specific to safety managers, supervisors, and/or directors responsible for successful company safety and health programs.

The TEEX “Community Disaster Preparedness for Healthcare” certificate is designed for healthcare, public health, emergency management and public safety professionals who wish to enrich their personal knowledge and skills related to healthcare and public health disaster preparedness while earning continuing education credits within their specialty area. Continuing Education Units and credits for the required courses are offered through the American Academy of Family Physicians for physicians, Emergency Nurses Association for nurses, State of Texas Department of State Health Services for EMS providers, and the International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training (IACET).
This certificate program combines a broad understanding of disaster preparedness and response in the healthcare arena with practical application of concepts within the classroom environment. Completion of the certificate demonstrates a commitment to understanding how current threats impact the healthcare community, and current planning, response and preparedness gaps within the healthcare delivery system. The required courses provide information on healthcare preparedness and response in Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosives (CBRNE) incidents, Medical Countermeasures and Point of Dispensing Planning and Response, Bombings and Bomb Threats and Pediatric Disaster Response and Emergency Preparedness.
Once all four courses have been completed, participants must complete the Community Disaster Preparedness for Healthcare application and return it to the TEEX Emergency Medical Services and Public Health program to receive their Certificate.

The Corrections Response Team Instructor Certificate is designed to give graduates a recognized credential that can translate into greater recognition within their respective field. After completing four required courses, graduates will have an understanding of basic defensive tactics, forced cell movement, riot control in a correctional setting, and be able to create safe scenarios to train their officers.

Looking for a way to reach your 144 hours required by a Department of Labor (DOL) Program?
Level up with the TEEX Electric Power Lineworker Apprenticeship program, a four-year plug-and-play training system for organizations involved with a DOL Apprenticeship.
You have a lot of flexibility with this program.
First, although each of the four years consists of 96 hours of training, you can take the courses over three non-consecutive weeks.
Second, each of the non-consecutive training weeks are about one month apart.
Third, you can supplement with TEEX open enrollment courses.
IMPORTANT: To register for this apprenticeship program, potential participants must be affiliated with an electric company, cooperative, or contractor. Proof of affiliation is required before registration can be completed.

TEEX, through the Texas Forensic Science Academy (TFSA), and Blinn College are now offering a Collegiate Technical Investigation Skills Program (CTISP) for Blinn College students. Students participating in the program will receive high-quality forensic technical training to prepare them for employment in the forensic industry.
CTISP consists of 272 hours of specialized forensic training. It is delivered during a collegiate semester through a combination of delivery methods: eLearning courses, traditional classroom instruction, and practical application. This is not an online only program. Upon successful completion of this program, students will receive 18 hours of collegiate credit through Blinn College and a Forensic Investigation & Evidence Management Professional Certificate through the TEEX – Texas Forensic Science Academy.
The Fall 2026 program cohort has class dates of August 2026 to December 2026. Exact dates will be posted when available. For admission into the Fall 2026 cohort, the application and registration will open April 1, 2026 and the release form is due by August 3, 2026.
Application for CTISP is online through the TEEX Student Portal via FIV150 Collegiate Technical Investigation Skills. A Federal Criminal History Background Check must be submitted as part of the application process.

The Forensic Investigator I Certificate is designed to give graduates a recognized credential that can translate into greater recognition within their respective field. After completing the required courses offered through the Texas Forensic Science Academy graduates will have a basic understanding of criminal investigation from capturing evidence and properly documenting a crime scene to understanding the basic factors that create an effective courtroom testimony.
