Petrochemical and refining industry workers in Texas will have easier access to safety and health training through a new agreement between the Industrial Safety Training Council (ISTC) and TEEX.

Wyoming calls on TEEX to test emergency response to water crisis

WYOWARN recently called on TEEX for training and assistance in developing a functional exercise to test the effectiveness of the WYOWARN plan and its policies and procedures for protecting citizens and mitigating a crisis involving contamination of the drinking water supply. WYOWARN is a mutual aid and assistance network for water and wastewater utilities, which prepares utilities to respond to emergencies by sharing personnel, tools and equipment.

TEEX Certified Safety and Health Official (CSHO) service mark is registered

The TEEX Certified Safety and Health Official™ (CSHO) service mark has been registered by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. TEEX developed the service mark more than a decade ago and has used it to market the industry-recognized CSHO program nationwide. The CSHO program has more than 1,900 graduates.

Public Works experts help assess water lines, sewer system in West blast zone

A Public Works Assessment Team, part of the Public Works Response Team (PWRT), deployed to West, TX, on April 24. In their operational period Thursday, the team assisted the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) and the West city engineer with testing and documentation of the integrity of the city sewer system in the blast impact zone. City drinking water service lines will be tested today.
